AWCI’s Excellence in Construction Quality Awards recognizes AWCI member contractors, manufacturers and suppliers who, as a team, have done outstanding work on challenging jobs.

Seven categories, which represent the scope of work done by most AWCI member contractors, are available: Drywall, Ceilings, Interior Plaster, EIFS, Steel Framing, Stucco and Small Projects. AWCI partners with the Gypsum Association for the Drywall category, with the EIFS Industry Members Association for the EIFS category, and the Steel Framing Industry Association for the Steel Framing category.

Nominations are judged on the number of AWCI members on the project team; the project’s construction duration in relation to its square footage and project type; the project’s degree of difficulty; and the use of materials and uniqueness of design.
