Water-Resistive Barriers

self-adhered vapor permeable (VP) air- and water-resistive barrier (AWB) developed for commercial wall applications

Siplast, a Standard Industries company, introduces a self-adhered vapor permeable (VP) air- and water-resistive barrier (AWB) developed for commercial wall applications—WALLcontrol™ Monolith VP Adhered AWB. As the latest innovation within Siplast’s expanding suite of WALLcontrol™ Air & Water-Resistive Barrier (AWB) Systems, WALLcontrol™ Monolith VP AWB exemplifies the company’s steadfast commitment to advancing within the building enclosure sector.

To create WALLcontrolâ„¢ Monolith VP AWB, Siplast employed a specialized production process for membrane technology that uses a proprietary blend of robust core materials to form a durable barrier film capable of providing protection against the elements. This technology presents a highly porous structure that facilitates moisture vapor transfer while providing exceptional water holdout properties.

This self-adhesive AWB eliminates the need for a primer, which can help save on labor, materials and time while allowing swift on-site application that expedites the project’s progress to the next construction phase.
