Wallcoverings for Healthcare

DuPont announces a set of DuPont™ Tedlar™ Wallcovering designs for the healthcare segment.

DuPont™ Tedlar® films have been used as wallcovering for healthcare facilities for over 35 years, but now there are more patterns and colors than ever before to give designers the freedom to create modern, patient-friendly spaces throughout medical facilities, waiting rooms, cafeterias and lobbies. DuPont™ Tedlar™ Wallcoverings are protected by a film that provides an impervious barrier against stains and is extremely durable. Iodine, mercurochrome and Sharpie marker stains are no match for these wallcoverings, which can stand up to industrial cleaning products, including bleach, without discoloration and they are unaffected by common acids.

Not only do all the Tedlar™ Wallcoverings have Greenguard Gold Certification and Greenguard Mold and Mildew Verification but in June, Tedlar™ Wallcoverings received its first Health Product Declaration approval from the HPD Collaborative. HPD is a set of precise regulations that report the contents and health effects of products.

A Type II wallcovering with Type III characteristics, DuPont™ Tedlar™ Wallcoverings are easy to clean and provide stain resistance and durability. The DuPont technology behind this new wallpaper has been used since 1948 for surface protection in many segment applications ranging from aircraft to automotive, rail and bus interiors, to fleet graphics and other wall overlaminates. DuPont™ Tedlar™ Wallcoverings are made in the USA and sole-sourced through Endure Walls™.
