Hammers

DeWalt expands its line of hammers with 14 new tools, highlighted by the XP™ Extended Performance series that offers durability and features including More Swing, Less Sting™ vibration dampening technology, easy-to-grip handles and side nail pullers. With a comprehensive line of hammers, DeWalt offers solutions for framing, finishing and specialty use, including the 22 oz. 1 pc. Steel Hammer (DWHT51381), winner of the 2018 Pro Tool Innovation Awards in the hammers category.

With their innovative grip vibration dampening technology, each XP™ Hammer reduces sting by 35% while also improving grip durability by 25%. Lowering vibration and increasing grip durability helps to reduce arm fatigue and helps the hammers stand up to rigorous use, making them the optimal solution for professional users. Additionally, the handle material offers moisture resistance to help prevent slippage and promote safety on the job site. The hammers also include a Tri-Pull feature for removing framing nails, finish nails and staples.

Six tools are part of the Extended Performance XP™ Hammers. In addition to the 16 oz. and 20 oz. General Purpose Hammers and the 22 oz. Framing Hammer, the XP™ line also includes the 18 oz. Wood Framing Hammers (DWHT51383) that feature carbon fiber composite overstrike protection for 25% added durability to help prevent handle breakage. The current 12 oz. and 14 oz. MIG Weld Hammers will also be updated with the new XP™ grip technology, coming soon.

DeWalt will also be adding to its offering with a new 8-tool range of claw, framing and specialty hammers and a hatchet. These hammers focus on optimized balance, durability and functionality. Available this fall where DeWalt products are sold, each hammer will come standard with a lifetime limited warranty from DeWalt.
