Drywall High Yield Adhesive

Selena USA introduces a new Tytan Drywall High Yield Adhesive that features new, innovative adhesive technology specifically formulated for installing drywall, exterior sheathing and foam board. The TYTAN Drywall High Yield Adhesive is easier and faster to apply than traditional drywall adhesives and saves contractors time and money.

Just one 29-oz can of Tytan Drywall High Yield Adhesive replaces 12 28-oz traditional adhesive cartridges.

Tytan Drywall High Yield Adhesive is the first ever “semi-collapsing” adhesive. Its innovative semi-collapsing technology makes for a very strong bond, which increases shear strength, and seals to prevent air and moisture penetration.

It also is the only high yield adhesive that may be used on vertical applications like drywall, exterior sheathing and foam board installation. It provides superior strength compared to foam adhesives because it partially collapses internally to create more bonding material when the substrate is attached. It fills gaps to prevent hollow spots and loose boards and provides superior insulation value and acoustic dampening properties compared to traditional drywall adhesives.

It remains semi-foamy so it may be applied on the stud without dripping. It exceeds ASTM D6464 and C557 and has no solvents.

It currently comes in a 29-oz professional version that uses the Tytan gun applicator. The Tytan gun applicator is reusable, provides a higher yield than other applicators, and allows for a more precise application. You’ve also got no mess and no unnecessary body pain from constant bending and squeezing of a caulk gun trigger. A 20-oz professional version and a 12-oz DIY version that uses a straw applicator is available.
