All the information you need to attend Build23: AWCI’s Convention + Expo, March 12–16 at the Paris Las Vegas, is available online at www.awci.org/convention. AWCI advises potential attendees to make hotel reservations as soon as possible as the AWCI room block is expected to sell out quickly due to increased activity in Las Vegas during that time. As of this writing in mid-December, AWCI’s hotel rooms are 70% sold.
In addition to awards presentations, numerous networking opportunities, committee meetings, activities for safety professionals and emerging leaders, and the largest trade show in the wall and ceiling industry (more than 200 booths and 100 exhibiting companies), education sessions will cover topics such as creating a safety culture, preventing musculoskeletal injuries and performance management software. The keynote speaker at the Pinnacle Award Breakfast is Chad Williams, a frequent guest on Fox News Channel, CNN News Room, Anderson Cooper 360 and more. He draws from his experience in the military to provide a Navy SEAL’s perspective on issues related to effective leadership, resilience, teamwork, overcoming adversity and motivation.
General session speaker Gene Marks will go over real-life, feet-on-the-ground tactics and strategies that smart leaders are using to navigate their way through the current economic slowdown and position their companies for future growth.
