This seminar is based on industry standards and best practices for the installation of gypsum board systems.
The course was developed under the guidance of an expert oversight group made up of contractors and manufacturers.
Robert Grupe spent more than 38 years with United States Gypsum Company where he held various technical and management positions. Activities included product and system design and technical consultation to the AEC community. He currently is a consultant to the construction community where he has worked on several large scale international construction projects. He has authored numerous articles and given presentations on fire, sound, and environmental issues as they relate to wall and ceiling assemblies. Bob received a BSCE from Illinois Institute of Technology.
The course content is presented using narrated slides featuring graphics and animations.
Each course module includes a printable version of the course slides and referenced forms/templates. Participants can print these or save them to their electronic devices for the purpose of study, taking notes and future reference.
