AWCI's Pinnacle Award

AWCI’s most prestigious honor, the Pinnacle Award is presented annually to the individual who most merits our industry’s recognition and who has given unselfishly of his or her time and energies to benefit AWCI and the industry. Not only are candidates evaluated on their dedication to the industry, but on their civic and community work and the excellence of their companies.

The E.F. Venzie Award

In 1964, upon the death of Edmond F. Venzie of Philadelphia, the executive committee of the old Contracting Plasterers’ and Lathers’ International Association immediately recognized Venzie’s many services by establishing CPLIA’s premier award in his name. The E.F. Venzie Award was retired in 1981 after being awarded to only 13 people.
